About Distribution Formula
When the sample size is small and the population standard deviation is unknown, the T distribution formula is used to estimate the mean of a normally distributed population. Student's T Distribution is another name for the T distribution formula. The t distribution curve is nearly identical to the normal distribution curve, with the exception that it is somewhat shorter and wider than the normal distribution curve. According to the t distribution formula, the larger the sample size, the more like the normal distribution it will be. The degree of freedom = m, which is nothing more than "n-1," where n is the sample size, is required for the t distribution formula. For a short sample size, the t distribution formula is as follows:

- μ is the expected mean value.
- ¯¯¯x is the sample mean.
- s is the standard deviation of the sample.
- n is the sample size.
