The world population has grown very rapidly. Why?


According to a new United Nations report, The world population is expected to increase by 2 billion persons in the next 30 years, from 7.7 billion currently to 9.7 billion in 2050.
The main factors affecting population growth are the birth rate and death rate.
It is also affected by people coming into the population from somewhere else or leaving for another area.

The world population has grown due to the advancements in science and technology that led to increased food production, access to quality education, development in healthcare facilities and government plans and policies.
