Unemployment refers to a state, wherein individuals are qualified to work and are even willing to work at the current wage rate, however are not able to secure a job.
One of the types of unemployment is disguised unemlopyment. This refers to a situation wherein an individual is working on a job, but is not adding anything to the final output.
It occurs when productivity is low and too many workers are filling too few jobs.This mainly happens in the agricultural sector due to inadequate jobs in rural areas.
It is also known as hidden employment.
