Who wrote the National Anthem of India?

Rabindra Nath Tagore created India’s National Anthem, known as “Jana Gana Mana.” He originally wrote it in Bengali Sanskrit, drawing inspiration from a Brahmo Hymn he had written. The anthem was first sung during the Calcutta session of the Indian National Congress and was officially adopted by the Constituent Assembly on January 24, 1950.
