Mia and Sam chose a spot under a big tree. They sat on the soft grass and enjoyed their sandwiches. After eating, they played catch with the ball. Sam threw the ball so high that it landed near the swings. A friendly dog ran to fetch it and brought it back to them. Mia and Sam laughed and patted the dog. The dog's owner came by and introduced herself. She said the dog’s name was Max.
Mia and Sam spent the rest of the afternoon playing with Max and making new friends in the park. It was a wonderful day, and they couldn’t wait to come back again.
