About Tan Formula
Out of three main functions in Trigo is tan. It is the ratio of the length of the opposite side to that of the adjacent side in any right-angled triangle. Depending upon quadrants tan function can have both positive and negative values. Tan formula is applied to find the value of angle if the opposite side and base are known to us. What is the Tan Formula?
Tan formula is the ratio of the length of the opposite side to angle and adjacent side to angle. Tan formula can also be applied to find lengths of the side of a triangle if we know the angle and either side. Tan Formula can be expressed as,
