Full form of CAIIB

"Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers" is the full form of CAIIB. CAIIB exam conducted twice a year by the (IIBF) Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. It was found in 1928, the (IIBF) Indian Institute of Banking and Finance now includes more than 700 financial institutions.

  • It is one of IIBF's premium exams that allows you to get the best from officers who are already representatives of the IIBF.
  • This test is used to assess advanced decision-making methods and general banking administration.
  • It consists of 2 necessary documents and one optional document.
  • It focuses on advanced decision-making, risk management, and general bank management knowledge and skills. It is mainly done in offline mode.
  • CAIIB is widely recognized throughout the banking sector.
  • The main aspirants are the staff of SIDBI, NABARD, RBI, Commercial Banks, Local Rural Banks, Cooperative Banks, etc.

Eligibility criteria of CAIIB

  • The eligibility criteria to attend CAIIB examinations are
  • To qualify for the CAIIB exam, the applicant must be a member of the IIBF (Indian Institute of Banking and Finance).
  • Most of the public banks evaluate their hiring on the CAIIB scoreboard.

Attempts for the CAIIB Exam

CAIIB candidates are eligible to attempt the exams twice. Even if they couldn’t qualify, the fees would be charged again, and they will get two more attempts to clear it off.

CAIIB Exam Pattern

The exam covers multiple types and the objective questions. CAIIB exams include two compulsory papers named Advanced Bank Management and Bank Financial Management papers and one elective paper. Questions for the examination will be asked to check:
