What is CTET Exam?

CTET is an All India Eligibility Test organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). CTET exam is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted twice a year to verify the eligibility of candidates for their appointment as teachers for classes 1 to 8 in central government schools like KVS, NVS, etc. Not only government schools, many private schools consider CTET certificates as mandatory eligibility criteria. So, the CTET certificate is essential for teachers who want to get a teaching post in both government and private schools.

CBSE is all set to organize the CTET 2022 exam. This time the exam is in online mode. The CTET exam pattern has several papers – paper 1 and paper 2. CTET Paper 1 will be done by candidates of grades 1 to 5 (primary school teachers) and CTET paper two by candidates of grades 6 to 8 (primary school teachers).
