Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited is the full form of IFFCO. It is the largest cooperative multi-state companies in the world, entirely run by the Indian cooperatives. It started with only 57 cooperatives in 1967 and is currently an integration of around 35,000 Indian cooperatives operating over 50 million Indian farmers with a wide range of business interests including insurance products, rural telecommunications, manufacturing and marketing of essential fertilizers.
