AP SSC Class 10 Hindi Syllabus 2026-27
The Andhra Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (BSEAP) has designed the Hindi syllabus for Class 10 (2026-27) to strengthen students’ understanding of Hindi as a second language. The syllabus includes prose, poetry, supplementary reading, grammar, and writing skills to improve comprehension, vocabulary, and expression.
1. Prose (Gadya Khand)

Short stories and essays from modern Hindi writers

Biographical sketches of great personalities

Lessons highlighting social values, patriotism, and moral development
-
Prose pieces that build cultural awareness and language fluency
(Around 8–10 prose lessons are prescribed for reading and comprehension.)
2. Poetry (Padya Khand)

Classical poems from famous poets like Kabir, Surdas, and Tulsidas
-
Modern poems by poets like Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Mahadevi Verma, and Nirala
-
Themes covering nature, love, devotion, bravery, and human values
-
Focus on recitation, explanation, and appreciation
(About 6–8 poems are generally included.)
3. Supplementary Reader

Selected short stories, folktales, and inspirational works

Emphasis on imagination, creativity, and moral lessons

Non-detailed stories for extensive reading practice
4. Grammar (Vyakaran)
