About AP SSC Class 10 Telugu Syllabus 2026-27
The Andhra Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (BSEAP) has structured the Class 10 Telugu syllabus for 2026-27 to strengthen students’ reading, writing, and comprehension skills in Telugu while promoting literary appreciation and cultural values. The syllabus includes prose, poetry, a supplementary reader, grammar, and writing skills.
1. Prose (Gadya Khandam)

Stories and essays from modern and classical Telugu writers

Biographical sketches of notable personalities

Lessons focusing on moral values, patriotism, social awareness, and human virtues

Reading comprehension passages based on prose
(Around 8–10 prose lessons are prescribed.)
2. Poetry (Padya Khandam)

Themes include nature, courage, patriotism, devotion, and social values

Focus on recitation, pronunciation, meter, and literary devices

Analysis and interpretation for literary understanding
(Approximately 6–8 poems are included.)
