Full form of STD

The full form of an STD is "Sexually Transmitted Diseases". STD means they are most commonly transmitted but not specifically through sexual activity. Sexually transmitted diseases include genital warts, genital herpes, HIV, gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia, other types of hepatitis and trichomoniasis. Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) formerly referred to as STDs (venereal diseases).

STD is the name for sexually transmitted diseases. All STDs are not transmitted sexually; they can also be transmitted through non-sexual activity. Non-contact forms include infected tissue and blood transfusion, breastfeeding, exchange of syringes and so on.
