CUET Eligibility Criteria 2025
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the eligibility criteria for the CUET exam in 2025. Candidates planning to take the CUET must meet all the specified requirements. If they do not meet these criteria, their applications may be rejected during the admissions process. Based on previous years' data, here are the expected eligibility criteria for CUET 2025 candidates.
Educational Qualifications
To apply for CUET 2025, candidates must achieve at least 50% marks in their Class 12 board exams if they belong to the general category. For candidates from SC/ST categories, a minimum of 45% marks is required.

Required Subjects in Class 12
Candidates should have taken subjects in Class 12 that are relevant to the undergraduate program they wish to pursue. Eligible subjects for the CUET 2025 exam include Agriculture, Anthropology, Biology, Environmental Studies, Geography, History, Home Science, Business Studies, and more.
Age Limit
There is no upper age limit for candidates applying for CUET 2025, as long as they meet the necessary educational qualifications.
Nationality
To be eligible for the CUET 2025 exam, applicants must be Indian citizens. The exam is also open to residents of Bhutan and Nepal, as well as Tibetan refugees who came to India. Additionally, individuals who have permanently settled in India, including immigrants from countries like Ethiopia, Burma, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Vietnam, can also apply.
Number of Attempts
Candidates can take the CUET exam as many times as they wish, provided they continue to meet the educational and other eligibility criteria in 2025.

CUET 2025 Reservation Guidelines
