About Supplementary Angles Formula

While solving many issues involving various shapes, we come across the concept of extra angles. The formula for supplementary angles is used to:
- find whether two angles are supplementary.
- determine supplement of an angle.
Two angles x° & y° are said to be supplementary if
x° + y° = 180°
Supplement of an angle x° is obtained by subtracting it from 180°.
Supplement of x° = (180 - x)°
- Two angles x° & y° are said to be supplementary if
x° + y° = 180° - Hence, the supplement of an angle x° is
(180 - x)°
