Online Tutoring – in a technological era

Since the pandemic hit the world over the past two years,  the use of the internet has been experiencing an upward trend continuously. Technology has grown to a new level. Nowadays even a small child is aware of the online activities which are available over the internet.

When it comes to academics, today's children are more fascinated with online learning, and here comes the role of online tutoring. Online tutoring means teaching a student over the internet platform. With the onset of the corona, it is considered one of the safest and most efficient methods of teaching for both students and teachers. They just need an Internet connection, and some formalities to perform and they are ready to go!

Importance of Tutor: Tutor – a child's need

For a child's welfare, the role of a tutor is significant. It has always been this case in the past when the kids used to take private tuitions from the "gurus" available nearby their living places as the schools and institutions were not highly available at that time. After schools and colleges came to play,  children started visiting these places to pursue their studies. But the need for tutors has always been there whether a child attends the lecture in a school or not. The importance of tuition teacher is always there for the students.

Tutors help students with the overall development of their personalities. They try to understand the exact needs of a student and focus on their weak areas to improve the overall performance of a child. This is not possible at schools due to the availability of a huge crowd which is to be handled by a single teacher. Also, the teachers cannot concentrate on each student properly due to the paucity of time.

Importance of Tutors in the current scenario

The need and importance of tutors have increased manifold after the pandemic hit the country as the children have fewer opportunities with them to attend school. Many schools have not started their proper offline classes as the risk of the corona has prevailed again. Some students have even dropped out from their respective schools or colleges due to some genuine reasons. In such a scenario where students are not getting proper and continuous attention from their teachers, how are they going to excel in their academics?

They need a personal coach or guide to help them do their schoolwork and to understand their respective subjects efficiently. One might think there can be family members or siblings to support their kids in their studies but this is not the case always. In most cases, the parents are not so educated, unaware, and are not technology friendly to help their students efficiently. When it comes to siblings, everyone nowadays is busy with their hustles and bustles so it is not possible to give sufficient time to their siblings. An efficient and professional tutor will solve this problem to a great extent. They will help the student in every possible way so that the students won't feel left out in their studies.
 Conclusion

Nowadays, tutors have become an indispensable part of a child's life.
Having a good and hardworking tutor for your child is a blessing in itself !!!!!

FAQs

Tutoring is a personalized educational support service where a tutor provides one-on-one or small group instruction to help students understand and master specific subjects or skills. It works by addressing individual learning needs, offering targeted explanations, and providing additional practice and feedback. Tutoring sessions are designed to complement classroom learning and improve academic performance through customized guidance and support.

The main goals of tutoring are to enhance a student’s understanding of specific subjects, improve academic performance, and build confidence in their abilities. Tutors aim to address learning gaps, reinforce classroom material, and develop effective study habits. The overall objective is to help students achieve their educational goals and perform better in their studies.

Tutoring differs from regular classroom teaching in that it provides individualized attention and a customized learning experience tailored to the student’s specific needs and pace. While classroom teaching typically involves a one-size-fits-all approach with a focus on a broad curriculum, tutoring offers personalized support, allows for in-depth exploration of topics, and addresses particular areas where a student may need extra help. This focused approach helps students overcome challenges and strengthen their understanding of the subject matter.
