NEET 2024 UP merit list - Tie-Breaking
If two or more candidates score the same marks in the NEET 2024 result, the following inter-se merit criteria will be applied to break the tie:
- Candidates with higher marks in Biology will be ranked higher in the merit list.
- If the tie persists, candidates with better marks in Chemistry will be given preference.
- If the tie still exists, candidates with fewer incorrect answers across all subjects will be prioritized.
- Finally, if the tie continues, the candidate who is elder in age will be considered first in the UP NEET rank list 2024.
