Full form of MC

"Menstrual Cycle is the full form of MC". MC corresponds to a natural periodic change in the female reproductive system. For women, the first cycle usually begins between the ages of twelve and fifteen and continues until the age of 45, with an average cycle length of 28 days.

MC provides essential chemicals in the body, called hormones, that keep people healthy. The duration is calculated from the first day of one period to the first day of the next. The average MC is generally 28 days. Menstrual cycles can vary from 21 to 35 days in adults and 21 to 45 days in teenagers.

Phases of the menstrual cycle

The menstrual cycle consists of four phases which include-

  • Menstrual phase: On day 1, the uterine lining begins to shed, ready for implantation, which takes 3 to 5 days.
  • Follicular phase: The mature egg follicle releases an egg from one of the ovaries.
  • Ovulation phase: The mid-cycle phase is the phase in which ovulation takes place, i.e. the 13th-17th. The end of the follicular phase together with the period of ovulation defines the period of fertilization.
  • Luteal phase: It is the postovulatory phase where the uncertainty of the corpus luteum is decided. If fertilization occurs, pregnancy begins. If fertilization does not occur, it means the beginning of the next cycle.

Risks of pregnancy during the menstrual cycle

A woman can get pregnant immediately after her menstrual cycle after cohabitation, because sperm can survive in the woman's body for up to 5 to 7 days. The time of ovulation is most likely to get pregnant, which occurs 11 to 15 days before the start of the next period.

This also includes the phase range of ovulation, which is responsible for pregnancy when the egg is released from the ovaries. The postmenstrual and postovulatory stages are considered to be the possibility of pregnancy after cohabitation, and the time limits are 8 to 9 days and 10 to 14 days of the menstrual cycle.

Conclusion

The menstrual cycle includes the period of menstruation and is part of the reproductive system of the female body, and women have the opportunity to become pregnant. The ebb and flow of hormones in a woman's body are triggered by the steps of the menstrual cycle.
